ABOUT ME
I’m a qualified Violin Teacher offering personalized lessons and instruction to students in the Swansea area. I’ve been teaching people of all ages and experience levels for many years. Students of mine have gone on to study music at the Royal Northern College of Music, Cardiff and Bangor universities and the Colby Institute, Maine USA and have become members of the National Youth Orchestra of Wales.I’m currently the violin/viola teacher at UWC Atlantic College.

Years of Experience and Proven Results
After studying at the Royal College of Music, I've enjoyed a busy career as a freelance viola player and violin/viola teacher and since moving to the Swansea area, I set up my own private teaching practice and became a founder member of the Taliesin String Quartet.
Teaching has always been an important part of my life and I consider age no barrier to learning, with my pupils ranging from 5 years to 60 plus.
A number of my students have played with or are currently members of the National Youth Orchestra of Wales, have enjoyed success in the national finals of the Urdd and others have gone on to study music at degree level at Cardiff/Bangor Universities, The Royal Northern College of Music and the Royal Academy, London.
In 2014, I was appointed resident teacher of violin/viola at UWC Atlantic College.
As you should expect from a private tutor teaching on a one to one basis, I have full public liability insurance,up to date CRB checks, Prevent training and Educare Safeguarding and Data Protection training at Level 2.
